Kids World Board Meeting April 11, 2011
5:00 p.m. at Kids World
The regular monthly meeting of the Kids World advisory board was called to order by President Tom Munger at 5:05pm. The following members were present: Tom Munger, Steve Irwin, Tina Zimmerman, Brandi Ledford, Jim Frederick, Jon Judisch and Barb Bloes. Also present Mollie Scott. Absent: Dallas Pullen
All board members deny any conflict of interest regarding agenda for current meeting.
Ledford moved that the agenda be approved. Zimmerman seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Frederick moved that the minutes of the March meeting be approved as presented. Ledford seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Financial report and bills payable were presented and are on file in the director’s office. Irwin moved that the bills payable be approved. Zimmerman seconded the motion. Motion carried.
The director’s report was reviewed, including CACFP information, which is on file in the director’s office. Butter Braid and Party Time Fundraisers brought in $1,033.80. AEA performed hearing tests for the children on March 16th and I-Smile dental screening was done on March 29th.
Old business Mollie had requested 3 bids for a new floor scrubber, 2 bids have been returned for review. It was moved by Frederick that the board authorize Mollie to choose the bid on the floor scrubber that best suits the needs for the facility. Irwin seconded the motion. Motion carried.
New business Summer Curriculum has been planned hourly rate will continue to be $2.50/hr for 5 year olds and up during the summer. Night Out is scheduled for June 17th. The Hub will be catering again this year and Mollie is in the process of collecting donations for the silent auction.
Next meeting is set for Monday, May 9, 2011 at 5:00 p.m.
Zimmerman moved for meeting to be adjourned, Ledford seconded motion. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 5:50pm
