Why you want to view: This will cost more than was budgeted
LAKE VIEW, IOWA – MARCH 21, 2011
Bill Leners, Lake View’s Electric Superintendent, has determined which lines in the Lake View area could use some attention.
The cost of this project is estimated at $140,000 with roughly $90,000 going for labor and $50,000 for materials.
The city budgeted $50,000 over the next two years for both overhead and underground line replacement, with the cost of materials budgeted as inventory purchases.
he council directed Leners to go get bids for the electrical project with the understanding that they have the right to reject any and all bids should they determine that they don’t want to spend that much money. According to Leners, the bids may be in as soon as April 1.
