Auburn City Council awards contract for stump removal
AUBURN, IOWA – JUNE 14, 2010
1. There is a discrepancy regarding how many stumps need removed.
- In the bid packet, there are 29 listed, but city clerk Nancy Janssen thinks there may be between 30 and 35 stumps that need to be removed.
- The bid from Lumberjack tree service is for $835.00.
- Gerald’s tree service submitted a bid of $2,388.00
2. Motion and second to accept Lumberjack’s bid.
- Motion passes 4-5 with Cindy Finley abstaining – no reason given.
