This morining Ben Smith, who is contesting the Sac County Attorney seat, held a meet and greet event at the Crossroads Restaurant in Early, Iowa. These are videos of that event.
TSN has requested notification of any similar event that Earl Hardisty, the current Sac County Attorney, may choose to hold in the future. As of April 22, 2010 Mr. Hardisty has no event scheduled.
Mr. Smith introduces himself, gives a little of his history.

After the meeting, I had a conversation with Mr. Smith regarding his position about prosecuting minors for harassment.

I really appreciate Ben getting out there and meeting people. I have seen more of Ben Smith in the last month then I have of Earl in 7 years!! I think Ben would make a great county attorney!!
