Minutes of the February 22, 2011 Sac County Supervisors Meeting

The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present, Jack Bensley, chairman, presiding. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.
It was moved by Stock and seconded by Hecht to approve the agenda as posted. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Stock and seconded by Hecht to approve an application for renewal of a Class C and Sunday sales beer permit submitted by The Bait Shop in Lake View, Iowa. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Hecht and seconded by Stock to table any action on a post remediation monitoring plan regarding the former Schultz property in Sac City until such time as a representative of the Trileaf Corporation can be present at a meeting of the Sac County Board of Supervisors to discuss the project. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Hecht and seconded by Stock to authorize the Chairman to sign a Memorandum of Understanding between the Iowa Department of Public Health and Sac County to share information relevant to both parties through the Share Point Server. Ayes all, motion carried. Share Point is a web-based document library system which allows the agency and authorized users to distribute and receive competitive selection and service contract documents, business records and financial documents.
Lisa Bethune, Sac County CPC, requested a $1,000 pay increase for Melissa Daisy, Sac County case manager upon completion of her six-month probation. No action was taken. Ms. Bethune requested a change in the payroll system for the office manager and was directed to visit with the payroll deputy in the Auditor’s office.
Sharon Neiman, the Plymouth County CPC joined Lisa Bethune, Sac County CPC, in a discussion about Sac County joining the North West Iowa Contracting Consortium Group to recommend and establish rates for service providers in the area. There are currently nine counties involved with the consortium. No action was taken.
The County Engineer updated the Board on activities of the county road crews and the status of current maintenance and construction projects.
With there being no further business, on motion, the meeting was adjourned.
