Final Score at the September 9, 2010 ESC –vs- Kuemper Junior Varsity Reserve football game.
The JVR players seemed to have a tough time keeping track of their personal responsibilities to the team the evening of this game, and that seemed to force the coaches to use up their time-outs correcting player errors instead of strategizing. I’m no expert, but this more than anything else seemed to be the reason for the no score game.
The bright side is that errors can be corrected, and even though this 28-0 loss didn’t help to their standing as a team, this particular contest has directly contributed to the knowledge base that they will draw on as older wiser players at the junior varsity and varsity level in the future.
