Would someone please spray some silicon on the council room door hinges? Sounds like the door on my '78 AMC Matador.
ReplyDeleteFirst you want Industry to come here, now you want to tax them and pay outragous Utility prices and property taxes to boot. The farther out the city annexes, the farther out new business will go. Also the State has already taken enough farmland away from the farmers now and if the city expands out, then farmers will lose all government programs, pay more taxes, which in turn, will force more people away from this area, going back to the George Glass incident.
ReplyDeleteAs of right now, there are only 3 direct on/off ramps & crossings going North & South, one being at Highway 4, one being at N14 & 1 being at Highway 71 going North of Early. The rest are 2 way stops, cross at your own risk. Every other gravel road will be deleted, no crossings.
Eventually there will be an access road going East & West, that will lead you to a place to cross. The new Highway will be 65 mph by Sac City, it will not be 55 mph like orginally thought, so I might be wrong, but you cannot force city limits out that far, unless it is a 55 mph zone.
All said & done, is the more the city gets involved beyond their city limits now, the less anyone will build here.
Boy are you miss informed everything you said is wrong...more propaganda to scare people. If you don't have the fact don't show you ignorance.
ReplyDeleteWe will see who has the wrong info, when it is all said & done. Maps of property owners show different.
