1. Our recommendation is that school starts at 8:00AM and ends at 3:40PM.
2. If the teacher is absent it will just count as a day.
3. How will subs be compensated?
4. Seniors will graduate on time.
5. School will end on May 28.
6. Are we in session on Good Friday?
6a. no… it’s a master contract issue.
7. We aren’t doing it to save money, but it does.
8. The high school and middle school have slightly different schedules.
9. Dave S. concerned about longer day for kindergarten students.
10. 1 single parent that lives by Carroll concerned about the early start, can it be changed to going late?
11. I had a few phone calls concerned about early start too.
12. Melissa B. can they put quiet time back into Kindergarten day?
12a. The teachers of younger students are sensitive to that and those concerns will be passed on.
13. The problem with it all…
1. It gets hard to meet everyone’s needs.
2. If there’s another snow day, we’ll just have to talk about it then.
3. WLVA extends school day until the end of year.
