Sac Aquatic Center pool still leaking, is heated more efficiently (July 12, 2010 Sac City Council Forum)
SAC CITY, IOWA – JULY 12, 2010
1. Swimming pool issues
- Good numbers at midnight swim over July 4, weekend
- Pool concession sales have been up and down.
- New swimming pool heater heats pool in a matter of hours instead of days.
- Going to have to start looking at updating the chemical control unit which was the cause of the delayed opening to at the start of this season.
- Water loss is still higher than expected.
2. Mayor gives kudos to clean-up crews that helped during Chautauqua Days.
3. $2,300 dollars was raise for Sac Community Center roof. This is leaves the center $4,800 short of what is needed.
4. Adjournment.
5. Law enforcement has nothing to report.
