Great another reason for the hard working private business owners taxes to go up. Why dont we all work for the city? When will people wake up and realize you can't get continue to spend tax payers money and the tax payer have anything left. By tax payer i mean those who put their name and life on the line to create something more for themselves not just recycling tax money. It is just passed down the line to all of us.
ReplyDeleteI know I didn't get a raise this year. Let's face it folks, we can't afford to continue to give these people raises when our tax base HAS to go up to give them it. It was told that our taxes would go up this year, then it was recanted when many citizens got upset. So, ya, the taxes aren't going up this time but when does the spending stop? Shuffle this, borrow from that budget, put this off, etc. ridiculous.
ReplyDeleteFrom the sounds of things, these employees don't even get annual evaluations! The economy sucks, they should be happy they even have jobs. I'm sure Pella employees, Quebcor employees, and other people that have been laid off would work for what they are currently getting or maybe even a couple of bucks less. SELFISH SELFISH SELFISH people. BUT OF COURSE I WOULD BE HAPPY TO HAVE MY TAX MONEY SPENT ON YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!
