LAKE VIEW, IOWA – JULY 6, 2010
1. Howe Construction of Rockwell city has the low bid of $113,179.00
- Next bid is about $25,000 higher.
2. This is a state bid, so the options are to accept the low bid or reject them all.
3. Council approves contract unanimously.
4. An expanded portion of the work would include a bike rest stop at icehouse point and will be on a separate contract.
- Will have the engineer come up with some designs.
- The dollar amount is not high enough for the city to have to go through the bid process again.
- Motion to proceed seconded and approved.
