New business to open in Sac City, Iowa
What you are looking at is the future location of Sac City Auto Sales. Owner, Arturo Lozano-Centeno (lower left hand side of the photo) said that he saw opportunity in Sac City based on the facts that there is no already existing used car lot and that the location is right on Highway 20. (Mr. Lozano-Centeno and I did not discuss K&S Auto or what might happen when Highway 20 moves two miles north.)
The portion of the building you are looking at will be brought down and turned into a display lot. The property east of this is the old car wash which will now be used for servicing vehicles and preparing them for sale. The business office will be located on the east side of the lot facing Highway 20.
Mr. Lozano-Centeno, who also owns Buena Vista Auto Sales in Storm lake, Iowa hopes to open the doors on Sac City Auto Sales within two months, depending on how fast the "Buena Vista Wrecking Crew" (standing atop the overhang in the photo,) is able to level the building and prepare the display area.
