Keep in mind that this is a newly created position, but the council is spinning it as merely bringing back a former position. If they get away with this spin, the door will be open for the council to hire seven more full time unskilled labor positions city employees at a cost of nearly $322,000.00 per year. Seven This is the number at least one member of the Sac City Council seems to be shooting for based on a conversation that took place at the meeting at which they created the current contested position.
