October 1, 2011 Cross Country Results with Coach Commentary
We took a small group to this meet because of band days in Carroll
Middle School girls
Jordan Rain 20:51
Vannessa Ross 22:18
High School Girls
Emily Scharn 7th 17:23
Liz Halbur 36th 20:04
Morgan Wollesen 41st 20:44
These three girls all ran their first meet of the year. They all ran well and should improve as they get back into the meet routine.
High School Boys
James Pobanz 24th 19:08
Kelly Nutt 29th 19:29
Colin Haberl 50th 21:05
Ryan Nutt 51st 21:05
Hunter Peiken 57th 23:37
Boys team 9th
James ran extremely well today and is starting to show some of his potential. Kelly continues to work hard and ran his best time of his career. Colin continues to improve weekly so hopefully these guys will peak at the right time. Hunter was able to run his first meet of the year after breaking his ankle over the summer and ran a solid race.
