ReplyDeleteRemeber there are 3 sides to every story. Let's not be to quick to place blame on anyone until we have all of the sides and have talked to everyone.
ReplyDeleteHow do you think these girls feel that people keep speaking of in the newspaper and on different websites? Has anyone ever stopped to ask them their side of the story? I am not saying that anyone is right or wrong here. But know that things may not always be what you think they are.
I think it is interesting that there have been only 4 girls out of hundreds that Mike has coached throughout the years say that he is a good coach. Look at the numbers in his program. In a 2A school he has 13 girls out for basketball while all the other girls sports in the district have 40 or 50. That says something for the program. He has gone totally over board and needs to be done.
ReplyDeleteThat being said, the board needs to look at the education of the ALL the elementary students and determine if having a principal also coaching is the best thing for the district. When you have a principal leave EVERY day at 3:20 means there is very little time for parents or teachers to meet with him to discuss the education of the students. That to me is a problem.
It is time for a change!
