Passed Away - Luke Schleisman
Lake City – Luke Schleisman, 20, died Friday, June 11, 2010 at his home. Mass of the Christian burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lake City. Celebrant will be Father Lynn Bruch and burial will be in the Lake City Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Monday with a vigil prayer service at 7:30 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lake City. Lampe Funeral Home in Lake City handling arrangements.
Luke is survived by his parents, Mark and Melissa (Bean) Schleisman of Lake City; sisters, Brandy (Colby) Winter and nephew Kypton, Cassie, Kylee and Blair Schleisman; and brothers, Matthew and Landon Schleisman all of Lake City; grandparents, Larry and Violet Schleisman of Lake City and Darlys Bean of Lake City as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Gerry Bean.
Luke Edward Schleisman was born September 8, 1989 at Gothenburg, Nebraska to Mark and Melissa (Bean) Schleisman. He graduated from Southern Cal High School in 2008 and attended Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge for two years studying ag business. He was engaged to Paige Gallo. Luke worked for Macke Motors in Lake City in the service department. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lake City. Luke enjoyed hunting, trapping, fishing, snowmobiling, farming with his family, entertaining his brothers, sisters and cousins, and cheering on his brothers and sisters at their sporting activities.

ReplyDeleteIf this was your family member I am sure that you would prefer to not have that in there. The whole world knows what happened. Why make it more painful for his family. His family is a wonderful group of people and they I am sure are full of grief over the death of their son and both girls.
