The City of Sac City will sell the following real estate by sealed bids on January 25, 2010 at 6:30pm.
Real estate described as:
East-West Alley between Lots 1 through 3 and Lots 4 through 6 of Block 35,
Platt’s Addition, Sac City, Inc., Sac City, Iowa.
Public Notice is hereby given that the City of Sac City will be taking and opening bids at their January 25, 2010 council meeting for disposal of real estate. All persons wishing to bid for purchase of this real estate should pick up a packet at the City Offices, 302 E. Main, Sac City. Sealed bids are due January 22, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. and will be opened at 6:30 p.m. on January 25, 2010.
The City has the right to accept and reject any and all bids and to waive any and all technicalities that may arise and take such action deemed in the best interest of the City. All interested parties are invited to bid. The successful buyer is to pay the sum of the bid, together with the expenses of the publications cost of notices, abstract costs, legal costs, and filing of deed. Once a winning bidder has been chosen, the City Administrator and City Attorney will draw up a quit claim deed.
