Sac City Councilor Jim Johnston will be offered the position of water plant superintendent by the City of Sac City, Iowa, possibly as early as August 9, 2011. If he accepts the position, his seat on the Sac City Council,from which he would be expected to resign, would become open in the 2011 fall election for a term of two years.
