- Approval of minutes

- Discussion about air conditioning unit that damaged the dance floor in the community center floor.

- Discussion about bill pertaining to extra law enforcement coverage at Farm Fest.
-- Will go on next month’s bill.

- Discussion about bills to be removed from bills.

- Approval of bills.

- Discussion about switching over to monthly utility billing.

- Discussion about well water/waste water generator.

- Council purchases a refurbished 1500 kba transformer.

- Discussion about transformers that tested below standard and may need to be replaced.
-- Tabled until the next meeting.

- Council discusses costs for proposed street repairs.
-- Approves grinding and seal coating on #4, #7, and half a block on #5.
-- They also vote to approve having Snyder & Associates do a full town street assessment for $2,900.

- Council discusses the July 2011 city financial report in depth.

- Council approves a building permit for Geneva Gotsch

- Council approves a liquor license for the Community Center.

- Discussion about the platting the Schroeder Addition.
-- The council voted to accept Snyder & Associates bid for platting services only .

-Council votes table a discussion about a $55,000.00 Natural gas hookup for the Quirks, Dan Stienkamp, and Doug Stienkamp farms.
-- Black Hills Energy indicated that they will not hook up the gas if they don’t also lay the pipe.
-- Clerk directed to see if there are other people who might do this kind of work.

- John, Rob and Frances are presented with election papers.

- Approval of leasing a color copier/scanner.

- 510 Center street is going to be torn down.

- Door to door solicitor in our area who is going into homes selling chemical cleaner and then stealing credit card and bank info.
-- This has happened in Lake View.

- Discussion about John Healy offer to clean out the trees north and west sides of the lagoons for less than $3,000.00.

- Chris Rodman updates the city council on the status of his city clerk training.
-- He is encouraged by the council to get more training than he is currently taking in.

- Adjournment.
