OBSERVATION: Rick Hecht, a Sac County Supervisor seems interested, if there is going to be agreement between Sac County and the City of Sac City to TIF, to see the TIF sunset and not go on and on the whay that TIF's based on economic development seem to do.
According to #joebehrens, the purpose of a TIF can be changed at any time right now
FACT: If the Sac City Council sets up a TIF district, and five years from now, a majority of the council is composed of people who are also on the Sac City Chamber/Main Street or the Sac Economic and Tourism Development board, or is composed of people sympathetic to those organizations, the council will have the ability to re-designated the use of that money for use by those organizations, NO MATTER WHAT THEY MAY SAY RIGHT NOW.
