SAC CITY, IOWA - SEPTEMBER 28, 2010
The 7th grade volleyball team faced off against Schleswig in Sac City on Tuesday, September 28.
The A team won all 3 games and held on to their undefeated record for the season. The scores were 21-10, 21-16, and 15-2.
Sarah Shull led the team at the serving line by completing 13 out of 13 serves with 5 aces. Sydney Ernst helped at the serving line as well with 9 out of 10 serves and 5 aces.
Ashton Blum led the attacks at the net with 5 out of 6 completed attacks and 2 kills.
The B team won all three games as well 21-9, 21-9, and 15-1. Bailey Jacobsen led the team with 16 out of 16 serves and 9 aces.
Brooke Skirvin and Kendal Herrig also helped out in the serving department. Brooke was 10 for 12 with 7 aces and Kendal was 12 for 13 with 9 aces.
Bailey Jacobsen and Hannah Degner each had 1 kill at the net.
The C team played hard but ended up short 21-17, 14-21, and 9-15.
Dijanna Hammond served 9 out of 11 with 5 aces.
Taylor Bohm led the team at the net with 3 out of 5 attacks completed and 1 ace.
The 7th graders are looking to increase their win column when they face off against South Central Calhoun on Thursday, September 30.
