LAKE VIEW, IOWA – AUGUST 2, 2010
The northeast corner of lake view’s library is starting to sink. Fortunately, the library received a Renze Foundation grant of $10,000 to help fund the fix-up effort. Now the library would like to apply for a community betterment grant that Prairie Meadows Racetrack and Casino offers for an additional $15,000 to continue the work.
Resolution #10-32 is essentially the city giving the library board permission to do so. The resolution was approved unanimously.
