Auburn, Iowa to undergo its first governmental audit… ever
AUBURN, IOWA – JULY 12, 2010
The residents of Auburn, Iowa were successful in their bid to have the city office undergo a governmental audit. According to the city clerk, the auditor was due to be in the office from July 19, to July 22, 2010. The residents will receive a bill for that attached to their utility bill on August 1, 2010.
The ordinance governing the regular audits going forward is not expected to be ready by the August meeting
