Thomas Hale, Jr., age 47, of Auburn, Iowa, passed away on Friday, June 04, 2010, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.
Tom was born on December 9, 1962, in San Bernardino, California, the son of Thomas Edward Hale, Sr. and Adeline Evelyn (Bouchard) Hale. When he was sixteen years old, the family moved to Attleboro, Massachusetts where he graduated from Attleboro High School in 1980. He attended one year of college trade school in San Bernardino, California. Tom entered the United States Army in 1985 serving as an MP.
On August 2, 1986, Thomas was united in marriage to Jeannine Crawford in San Bernardino. Three children were born to this union: Lisa, Stephen and Bryan. They moved to Auburn in 1997.
He loved his family and enjoyed football, fishing and gardening, watching NASCAR races, and working on cars.
Survivors include his wife, Jeannine; children: Lisa, Stephen and Bryan Hale all of Auburn; mother Adeline Hale of Shady Oaks in Lake City; sisters: Ramona Carothers of Lake City and Rhonda Johnson and husband Barry of Auburn; his niece; four nephews; and many friends. His father preceded him in death.
