East Sac County High School February 2010 Principal’s Report
1. This may be covered in depth at a future date.
2. The high school principal's office is slightly out of sync due to weather. According to High School Principal Kevin Litterer, the referral report is behind and there are probably 7 more cases that didn’t make it on to the report. Mr. Litterer reported that 5 cell phone violations is a normal amount.
4. Danielle Huntley is now a long term substitute.
5. The listed bankers talked to the students about what they are going to encounter at college regarding interest rates, and focused on the dangers of the blizzard of credit card offers they will receive. Several of the bankers listed put themselves at the school disposal to present the same information again
In addition to the items on the report, Mr. Litterer mentioned that there is a student teacher named Charlie Fitzgerald from Iowa State University working with Scott Johnson. The student teacher will be working with the Ag department for 16 weeks and took over three of the classes on the week beginning February 7, 2010.
The student teacher said that he came to East Sac County specifically because he was impressed with what he had heard about the ESC Future Farmers of America program and that he had turned down other opportunities in favor of East Sac County.
Mr. Fitzgerald was the state FFA officer when he was a student.
