In a conversation that I witnessed but didn't get on video after tonight's Sac City Council meeting, I learned that the Sac City Council will not have on it's January 25, 2010 agenda a resolution supporting the consolidation of the WLVA and Sac Schools.
The January 25, 2010 meet is the last regularly scheduled Sac City Council meeting before the February 2, 2010 vote.
Since this conversation took place, not during the Council Forum where the Sac City Council would normally discuss this kind of city business, but after the meeting had adjourned (quietly,) there is a chance that I misunderstood the conversation and Mayor Powell will indeed include a resolution supporting school consolidation for the council to consider at the January 25, 2010 meet.
