A request for information was made to the Sac County Endowment Foundation information email address, (info@saccountyiowa.com,) asking why the City of Schaller, Kid's World, and the M & M RC & D projects received less than the asking amount, but no information was returned as of post time. (3/7/2011 - 1525)
According to a Sac County Economic and Tourism Development information release, there are $36,000 in funds left to award for 2011. Applications are due by April 29, 2011 at 4:00PM. Only City and 501c3 entities are eligible for this grant.

ReplyDeleteI believe the City of Sac City ask for money to revovate the tennis courts and were tuned down because it was concidered a maintenance issue. Looking at the list that was funded it looks like a lot of them are (maintenance issues)? Why was the City of Sac City left out of the funding? Especially when there is money left over!!!!! Makes you wonder if someone on that committee has an issue with Sac City.
