The 7th grade volleyball team travelled to Rockwell City on Thursday, September 30 to take on the South Central Calhoun Titans.
All 3 teams were able to win their matches although they weren’t easy wins.
The A team won all three games 21-15, 21-14, and 16-14.
The A team was led at the serving line by Lexie Berry who served 13 out of 14 with 5 aces. Sarah Shull also helped out in the serving department going 13 for 16 with 7 aces.
Ashton Blum led the team at the net with 5 out of 6 completed attacks and 5 kills.
The B team won 2 out of the 3 games 21-15, 21-7, and 13-15.
Kendal Herrig led the team with 15 out of 16 serves completed and 9 aces.
Bailey Jacobsen also served well going 13 for 14 with 9 aces.
Kennedy Pieken rounded out the serving with 8 out of 9 completed and 7 aces.
The C team also won 2 out of the 3 games to claim the match 21-10, 21-11, and 22-24.
Dijanna Hammond led the team with 20 completed serves out of 23 attempts and 17 aces.
Jordyn Anderson helped out in the serving going 8 for 10 with 2 aces, and Emma Mortensen served well completing 9 out of 12 serves with 5 aces.
