SAC CITY, IOWA – SEPTEMBER 23, 2010
Between the dates of September 15, 2010 and September 18, 2010 a basketball backboard and hoop were stolen from the outside court at the East Sac County Middle School in Sac City, Iowa. The hardware with which the backboard is packaged is for the particular type of pole you see featured in the photo, and more traditional mounts may have to be purchased separately by the thieves for use on a straight pole or mounted on the roof of a garage.
The backboard is made of high quality aluminum and is of a quality than cannot be purchased at a discount store. It looks exactly like the one in this photo.
